The Savill Building is a visitors’ center for the Windsor Great Park, located in Windsor, England and was designed by Glen Howells Architects, Buro Happold, and Engineers Haskin Robinson Walters. It’s located on a beech tree plantation that was severely damaged in 1986 by a hurricane; remaining trees were considered in the stratagem. The structural model was created using architectural drawings of the Savill Building. The model shows the structural gridshell roof, steel anchoring system, and detailed connections that are essential to the stability of the design.
